But Bremen is not only famous for the City Musicians, we have a lot more to offer! It may not look like a big popular German city, but the hanseatic city of Bremen inspired stories like Robinson Crusoe, it is the home of SV Werder Bremen and, of course, many local beer brands.
Bremen's market square is regarded as one of the most beautiful in Europe. Its unique ensemble of historical buildings consists of the town hall, the merchants' houses that date back to the Weser Renaissance era and the statue of Roland, the symbol of the city's freedom.
A little-known fact about Bremen: We are one of Europe's most important locations for aerospace. The navigation system “Galileo” was developed in Bremen. So we are one of the reasons why you can easily find your way to us.
